We loved the incredible hill view from the shared roof balcony and the window in our room. the location was perfect with a scenic 10-minute walk to the Mall and close proximity to Nightingale Park, the zoo, and HMI. the caring hosts made us feel like family and ensured our privacy. the hygienic and tasty food, along with the warm welcome, made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Felt very lucky, no complaints.

The triple room in Himshikha Homestay is just perfect for budget travelers like us. The soundproofing is on point, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed stay. The tile/marble floor gives a classy touch, and the private entrance adds an element of exclusivity. We felt right at home!
I personally didn't enjoy the sofa in the double room. It's just my opinion, though.

I recently stayed at a wonderful homestay in the beautiful town of Darjeeling. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the valley and close proximity to Kanchenjunga viewing points, the zoo, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms and electric under blankets for the colder nights. However, what truly set this homestay apart was the warm hospitality of the hosts, Dipak and Nirmala. They made us feel like family, offering helpful advice and delicious homemade food.
I can just recommend this hotel.
